This is what I learned while making the Wonder Woman costume
The deadline for this costume has come and gone, so let’s see it in action shall we?
I have just enough time to make one more element for the costume before Halloween: The skirt.
It’s finally time to add some colour to the costume. No more black and white foam!
With the initial pieces fully assembled, I need to figure out how Zoe is going to put them on and actually wear them.
The armour and the tiara are both fully assembled. The next pieces I’m going to tackle are the bracers.
Now that the base of the armour is assembled, it’s time to add detail. This includes the trim and surface detail.
It’s time to take the plunge and start on the biggest, most complicated piece of this costume: The armour.
Before getting really stuck into the armour for my daughter’s Wonder Woman costume, I decided to cut my teeth on something a little more straightforward. The smallest piece is the tiara, so I went with that.
My daughter wants to be Wonder Woman for Halloween this year. I’ve been waiting for an excuse to try some costuming making using foam and other materials, so this was a perfect opportunity.
